Message from the Head

I am immensely proud to be the Head of a happy, caring and inclusive school, where the children are at the heart of everything we do. Listening to and actively seeking the voice of our children is important to their sense of ownership of the school, while developing their confidence. Our whole school team work tirelessly to ensure that the children have every opportunity to be the best they can be. Members of staff benefit from regular training and development. I, along with the Deputy, are relentless in our drive for continuous improvement. We engage in a rigorous cycle of self evaluation to ensure that we provide a high quality education and school experience for all. I am fortunate to work closely with the Full Governing Board who offer support and challenge in equal measure, and who are very involved in all aspects of school life.

Our culture of equity and fairness for children and adults in school is something that is important to me and based on a respectful understanding of each other. Fostering positive relationships with families is fundamental to our success. Our open door approach helps us to have regular communication and enables us to work together for the benefit of the children.

I thoroughly enjoy my job and see each working day as a new opportunity to make a difference to our Rodborough family. I look forward to meeting you and sharing our latest news.
