Welcome to Reception of EYFS!
We create an
environment which reflects, supports and enhances each child's interests, needs, abilities and strengths, as well as provides opportunities for creativity, confidence-building and curiosity. Together with parents, we build strong foundations and enable our children to develop as individuals and learn the key skills needed for the rest of their learning journey at school and beyond.
The children take part in:
- Learning to read with the Read, Write Inc. phonics program.
- Learning inside and outside the classroom.
- Weekly Forest school sessions.
- Continuous provision across the day helping them to explore a range of activities and become independent learners.
