During the last year of primary school, children apply for secondary school places and take part in transition events. They undertake the statutory Key Stage Two SATs tests during the summer term and complete the National Curriculum programme of study. Children particularly enjoy organising and running an enterprise market, becoming buddies to Reception children, taking on roles within the end of year performance and having the opportunity to attend a five day residential.
